Shuttle Transportation

To the Admiral’s House (Out‑of‑Town Guests)

Shuttle pickup details from the Astra, Thompson, and Palihotel will be shared once available. Please indicate on your RSVP if you plan to use this service so we can reserve a seat for you. 

From the Admiral’s House 

To the After Party: Guests attending the after party may take provided transportation from the Admiral’s House to Leny’s Place. Shuttles will depart at approximately 11:00 PM.  Please note there will be no return shuttle service from Leny’s Place. Guests will be responsible for their own transportation home.  

To Recommended Hotels: Guests returning to the Astra, Thompson, or Palihotel may take one of our provided shuttles, also departing at approximately 11:00 PM.  

Important Note For All Guests 

Regardless of how you arrive, all guests are required to take a short shuttle ride from the bottom of the hill to the Admiral’s House. We recommend arriving around 4:00 PM (approximately one hour early) to allow ample time for shuttle service.  

Due to the narrow, winding road, only 14 guests may travel uphill at a time. Thank you in advance for your patience - we promise the views at the top are worth it! 

Parking

For guests planning to drive, parallel parking is available at the base of the hill. After parking, guests will board a shuttle for a short ride to the venue.  Available street parking includes 23rd Avenue W and West Marina Pl (a detailed map can be seen below). Please note that a short walk is required from the parking area to the Admiral’s House gate, where you will board the shuttle to the top.  

We recommend arriving around 4:00 PM to allow ample time. After the wedding, shuttles will return guests directly to the parking area.  

Rideshare

Guests who live in Seattle or are not staying at our recommended hotels are encouraged to use a rideshare service. Rideshare vehicles will drop guests off at the bottom of the hill, and you will then take the shuttle to the venue. As noted above, please allow ample time, as shuttle capacity is limited and will take time to transport all guests to the venue. 

Directions

Important: When using Google Maps, search for “The Admiral’s House”. Please do not enter the street address (2500 West Marina Place), as it may lead you to the wrong location. 

Driving Directions: 

  • Take 1-5 Mercer Street exit and follow Mercer Street as it becomes Elliott Ave. 

  • Stay in the right lane and take the Magnolia Bridge westbound toward the West Galer Flyover. Stay Right.  

  • In Right Lane - Exit the bridge toward Elliott Bay Marina / Smith Cove Park / Cruise Ship Terminal (this is the ONLY exit off the bridge on the right side). 

  • Once on the off-ramp, drive straight DO NOT TURN LEFT OR RIGHT. 

  • The Admiral’s House gate entrance is straight ahead, almost under the Bridge on the northwest side.
